Hi, last month was crazy busy with writing gigs, events, and new books to share from within the writing community. Here's a brief look at what went on and what's coming up.
David Roberts' Rock Tales launches went well. There was one in a gorgeous atmospheric pub in London and another in Wivenhoe (Essex) art gallery where artwork relating to the book was on display.
Also in October the Journal for the Society of Women Writers and Journalists ( www.swwj.co.uk ) was produced - I'll have copies with me at upcoming events.
The upcoming WriteFest is almost here! Saturday 7 November in Colchester's Dragonfly Lounge on Long Wyre Street from 10am until 3pm. If you're a writer or thinking of starting writing, this free event will help you decide if you want to write as a hobby, as a side gig or as a career. It's free entry and there are goodie bags for the first 20 people. There are speakers and author stallholders throughout the day, Q&A and opportunities to network.
