Sarah has over 40 years’ writing experience under her belt with 6 novels, 7 non-fiction books, ghostwritten 4 books and has been included in 9 anthologies having first published in 2006.
Aside from writing her own novels and non-fiction, she focuses on coaching new and reluctant writers to achieve their goals, editing and proofreading and ghostwriting. She also delivers talks and workshops.
She is the Journal Editor for the Society of Women Writers and Journalists (SWWJ), founder and local group organiser of Writers of Essex (kindly supported by Society of Authors), is a member of the Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi), Romantic Novelist’s Association, and the Authors Support Network. Her clients include Pen and Sword Books among others.
Ideas for stories are one thing, but she has unlimited ideas for community events too. Having founded several writing groups over time, she now organises regular Meet The Authors events in Essex and the upcoming inspiring WriteFest, a festival for writers.
She has spoken at various book events including the Essex Book Festival, Brightlingsea Literary Festival, Sudbury Literary Festival and, in August 2026, she was a course tutor at Swanwick Writers’ Summer School in Derbyshire.
She is a supporter of human authored books, has a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing and lives in Essex, UK.
